Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here.
Join Us
Every Sunday at 9:00am and 10:00am, we host our relaxed, community-centric services. Come visit! ALL are welcome, included, and affirmed in our church.
When you arrive, you’ll be warmly welcomed by greeters (none of whom are creepy, pushy or awkward—promise!). We’re happy to show you around if you like, but you’re also welcome to just grab a cup of coffee or tea and a pastry before grabbing a seat. You’ll find our worship spaces arranged a little differently than a traditional church with pews and pulpits: Our 9:00 service meets in our Fireside Room, set up like you’re attending an intimate artist reading; our 10:00 service is in the main hall with tables scattered around the room—like at big dinner party! Most people dress casually, and we believe God loves for you to be comfortable and just show up as your amazing, authentic (even if sometimes messy) self.
Our 9:00 service features a meditation and teaching (no music or children’s services).
Our 10:00 service features music in addition to the meditation and teaching, and we host kids’ programming for various age groups, from babies to middle-schoolers.
If you’ve got questions or want us to introduce ourselves, answer questions, or give you a tour (and a little welcome gift!) during your first visit, drop us a line.
Mission
CrossWalk Community Church is a progressive church that exists to help people continually discover and develop a life-changing, world-impacting relationship with God. As modeled by Jesus, we strive to inspire our community to choose a life of stretching our understanding of God, kneeling in service, standing for grace and justice, connecting with one another, and communing intentionally and routinely with God. Through these five core practices, we love to realize all that God can do in and through us.
Our Theology
We resonate with the growing number of people in the world who identify as spiritual but not religious. Many have opted out of formal faith constructs because the old paradigms just don’t work anymore. Many of us find ourselves in a deconstruction phase, wondering if there is anything out there to reconstruct. CrossWalk lives and breathes this reality. While we are Christian, we believe Jesus was extremely spacious and gracious in the way he understood the movement of God in an ever-evolving world. We want to embody that. If you’re looking for a different, more open and relational take on faith that is deeply rooted and supported by a growing number of scholars and practitioners, you just might find yourself at home here. We are motivated by love, informed by love, practicing love, desiring to bring more love and grace into this world.
