Discover Your SHAPE, Temperament,
Spiritual Pathway, & Strengths

"God has given...gifts of the Spirit to prepare God's people for works of ministry, so the body of Christ may be built up.
Ephesians 4:11-12

1) The SHAPE assessment will assist you in the discovery of the unique way God has designed you to minister to and with others in the Body of Christ. God is consistent in his plan for your life. Nothing in your life or the way you are designed is wasted in God's economy! What God made you to BE determines what he intends for you to DO. By looking at the factors of your S.H.A.P.E. you can discover the unique way God intends for you to minister/serve in His body.

Spiritual Gifts and abilities tell WHAT you will do in ministry/service. The assessment answers the question of what spiritual gift, ministry of Jesus or manifestation (working or expression) of Himself God has given you.

Heart tells WHERE your primary ministry/service will occur. The assessments will help you identify what you love to do, what motivates you.

Abilities and spiritual gifts tell WHAT you will do, where you minister/serve. This section will help you answer the questions as to what natural talents and developed skills you want to contribute to your ministry/service areas.

Personal Style/temperament assessments will help you identify HOW you are energized and organized for ministry/service. It will answer the question of How you will best fit on your ministry/service team.

Experiences of life and education may add another answer as to WHERE God has designed you to minister/serve.

2) The Keirsey Temperament Assessment will help us discover your unique personality type and how you prefer to interact with others.

3) The Spiritual Pathway Assessment will help us discover how you best connect with God.

4) The Strengths Section helps to explain how your talents, skills, and knowledge = Your Strengths. Strengths are the ability to provide consistent, near-perfect performance in a given activity. This ability is a powerful, productive combination of talent, skill and knowledge.

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others."
1 Peter 4:10

How Will God Use You?

God has raised-up an incredible team of very gifted caring servants at CROSSWALK who assist in caring for our church and community through our Hospitality Ministries, Prayer Ministries, Food Pantry, Meals From the Heart, Benevolence Ministries, DivorceCare, Spiritual Care Ministry, Outreach Recreation Ministries, and C.A.R.E. Ministry (Christians Actively Reaching Everyone), Weddings, Memorials, and Baptisms. I continue look forward to the many ministry opportunities ahead as we grow as a church community. Without these servants, CrossWalk Community Church would not be who we are today.

CrossWalk's local outreach is expanding and we are always looking for more ways to better serve the community that God has placed us in. Through the Lord's gentle nudge, you may decide that you'd like to wade out at least ankle deep and give a mission outreach opportunity a try. After all, this may be the second most important spiritual decision you'll ever make next to committing your life to Christ. Serving always opens the door to new levels of growth, blessing and reward from God.

I can help you find the spot God has for you. Pray about it and then let me know where you feel God is leading you. It may take some time to get you connected. In the meantime, don't let your fire for serving God die down, because that is exactly what Satan would love to have happen! I will be praying for you! Together we are a team in Christ! Stop by my office or give me a call to set up a time to get together so we can share our stories and get to know each other better. If you are looking for a place to be connected and use your gifts, just let me know and we'll work together to make that happen. Remember, I am here for you! So let me know how I can help!
