Renew Normal

Relationship with God affects every part of our flesh-and-blood daily living. But let’s be sure to remember that we’re talking about a relationship with God, who is Spirit. Jesus came to give us new wind in our lungs – breath that is from a different source than the air around us. We are called to live invigorated by this Breath of Heaven which guides us, strengthens us, encourages us, rejuvenates us, rekindles us, revives us, and unites us. To experience life at it’s best means we begin breathing something from beyond this life., which redefines "normal life" for us into something full of color and life, instead of the drab and dreary...

Lovely

This teaching takes a look at an activity that Jesus commanded that was as unpopular in his day as it is today: wash someone's feet. We don't like the literal interpretation, and we hate the dynamic equivalent even less. And yet, following Jesus especially in this regard is an act of obedience that makes us more like him.

Blind

In this teaching, we find ourselves in the story of a man born blind who is miraculously healed by Jesus. The commotion this causes only draws more attention to the center of every story in John's Gospel, Jesus, and leads the man to faith at the cost of his former allegiances.

Not Today. Not Ever.

This is a teaching that explores the life changing principle that made John 8:1-11 one of the most controversial passages that almost didn't make the final version of John's Gospel. A surprising thing is learned about when forgiveness happens, why confession matters, what motivates both, and what difference it makes in our lives.

Rethinking Everything

Part of the wholeness offered by Christ is a renewed mind. Especially for those of us living in the Western world where intellectualism reigns supreme, we need to learn from Jesus’ interaction with Nicodemus. Our worldview, our theology, our core paradigms all must be revisited as we grow in relationship with Christ. Nicodemus was pretty confident in his beliefs. And yet he discovered that what he knew was far from complete. He left that conversation with much to think about – thinking that eventually led him to become a fan of Christ

Something For Everyone

This teaching kicks off the "Unlimited" series. This series is aimed at helping people come to grips with the core essentials of the salvation God is offering in Jesus Christ. Much more than a simple confession of lips, what Jesus offers is a total life recalibration. This series will help people identify what that workout looks like and how to implement it into their life for greater effectiveness. Here we will take a look at the main character in John’s Gospel: Jesus. We’ll learn from John’s Prologue that Jesus came into our scene with unparalleled backstory: he was in on creation itself as part of the Godhead. He is beyond us yet with us. Then, we’ll take a look at Jesus’ first miracle in John’s Gospel: turning water into wine. Much more than a party essential, Jesus was telling us something about himself and what he came to provide for those who would embrace him.
